Biodiversity Week

16th Jun 2026
We recently marked our first Biodiversity Week in our school. The aim of this week was to develop pupils' understanding of biodiversity and to increase their awareness of the importance of plants, animals and habitats. Our school garden is currently in full bloom and Sheila, our school gardener, was in with us completing planting with every class! We were extremely busy learning all about Biodiversity in different subjects and we were also getting creative entering our Biodiversity Poster and Photography competitions. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Sheila for her special work in our garden this year. We are so lucky to have such a treasured space in our school and it wouldn't be possible without her!
